This project first exhibits in Hastings, UK in 2025. It part of an entire collection of 20 paintings. Each painting is an essence of one of the 20 signs of each of the 20 days of the Tonalamatl Mexica solar cycle.
These codices were originally stolen during the Spanish invasion and sold to private collectors. They still currently reside in the Vatican without hope of recovery to their original home. For this reason, Pablo paints them and continues to share the symbology and stories behind them.
